Engineering Trainer – Level 3 and Level 4 Apprenticeships
Location – North Yorkshire (All delivery is on-site)
Salary – Up to £41,000
Contract – Full-time, permanent
We are working with a long-established private training provider in North Yorkshire who is expanding their team with the addition of an Engineering Trainer. This is a full-time, permanent role based at their modern training facility. The focus will be on classroom delivery of Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering Apprenticeships, supporting learners through a high-quality, engaging learning experience that draws on your industry expertise.
Areas you’ll be covering include;
- Engineering Management
- CAD
- Engineering Science and Maths
- Engineering Principles. (Either Mechanical or Electrical depending on your background)
You do not need to have delivered every topic previously. If you have a solid foundation in some of these areas, training and support will be provided to develop the rest.
What we are looking for?
- Experience in teaching or training is an advantage, but not essential
- A strong background in engineering, whether mechanical, electrical or CAD based
- A genuine interest in coaching and developing apprentices
- If you do not already hold a teaching qualification, this can be supported as part of the role
- Ideally, you will hold a minimum of HND qualification in your relevant area.
