We are currently recruiting for an Apprenticeship Delivery Manager for one of our Ofsted Grade 1-rated clients.
 
Position: Apprenticeship Delivery Manager
Salary: £43,250 (DOE)
Location: Mainly remote, with occasional travel across sites in the South West of England
 
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Operations Manager to lead and manage our client’s Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programmes. In this role, you will ensure a highly effective learning experience for apprentices, guiding them along personalised pathways to maximise their potential and achieve success in a timely manner.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance management of your team to meet contractual targets related to success rates, non-starters, referrals, and progressions.
  • Recruit, manage, and support a team of Apprenticeship Tutors across various sectors.
  • Set and monitor monthly KPIs to ensure the timely completion of all apprenticeship programme elements, including functional skills and additional learning support.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff training to ensure consistent practices in line with funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one appraisals and coaching sessions with Apprenticeship Tutors, contributing to their development plans and the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Address underperformance and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business growth and learner recruitment.
  • Work closely with Performance Managers, Sales, Compliance, Finance, and Administration teams to ensure a cohesive learner experience from application to completion.
  • Conduct regular observations of teaching and learning in the field and monitor functional skills delivery for continuous learner development.
  • Ensure programme performance aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs).

About You:

  • Proven experience in driving quality learning and achieving learner start and completion targets.
  • Strong knowledge of Apprenticeships and relevant funding streams.
  • Recent experience in a similar Operations/Performance Manager role, managing a team of Assessors delivering on the New Standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in IT and comfortable working with e-portfolios and various software platforms.
  • Confident in building professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted requirements.
  • Solid occupational experience within an educational or training environment, particularly in early years or teaching.
