Construction Tutor – Intro to Construction
£35,000 | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Sheffield or UK-Wide

I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established Independent Training Provider (ITP) that’s looking for a Construction Tutor to deliver engaging Introduction to Construction and Health & Safety Awareness courses.

You do not need to be a qualified teacher – we’re looking for someone with a solid background in construction, great communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire learners starting out in the industry.

Key Details:

• Salary: £35,000 per year
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Location: Ideally based in or around Sheffield, but open to candidates anywhere in the UK

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering short courses on construction basics and health & safety to learners entering the sector
• Creating an engaging, supportive learning environment
• Drawing on your own experience in construction to bring sessions to life
• Supporting learners to build confidence and understanding of the industry

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience in construction (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, electrical, mechanical, brickwork, roofer, fencer etc)
• Confident communicator and natural people person
• Passion for helping others succeed
• Experience in a training or mentoring capacity is a bonus, but not essential
