FIND are delighted to be working in partnership with a Nottingham based, well-established leading training organisation to hire an Engagement Officer.
Our client provide a range of employment related training including Full Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Adult Learning Loans, Employability and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, that will enhance individuals’ employment potential and qualifications.
Owned by two prominent housing associations in the East Midlands, NCHA and Futures Housing Group, our client are a training and apprenticeship provider specialising in the delivery of housing qualifications to housing people through a variety of pathways. We are also an approved study centre for the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Based from our clients office in central Nottingham, the successful candidate will support the Commercial Director to generate and enrol learners onto housing and other commercial programmes whilst providing an excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
- Onboard learners onto commercial training programmes in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to ensure invoices are paid timely.
- Prepare for and deliver information sessions prior to course start date.
- Co-ordinate communication between delegates, employers, the Commercial Director and the wider housing team.
- Research and provide data and reports to support the generation of sales.
- Update sales pipeline to support sales targets.
- Action customer inquiries in a timely manner and provide relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales and customer support.
- Provide support for marketing campaigns.
- Attend events and trade shows.
- Work as part of a team and liaise with colleagues as required.
Applicants must have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communicational skills.
- Experience of working within a customer service role.
- Strong administration skills with a high attention to detail.
- The skills and ability to co-ordinate tasks.
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritise workload.
- Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Hold English and maths qualifications at level 2 or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills (conversant with Microsoft Office and social media).
Applicants will ideally have:
- Transferable skills gained in a sales support role.
- Experience within a learning and development co-ordination role.
- A driving licence and access to own transport.
