I am currently on the lookout for an Automotive Tutor join a Skills and Learning Organisation based in Trafford, Greater Manchester. This is both a delivery and assessing based role, which is available to qualified Candidates who hold a recognised teaching or assessing qualification only. 

The role: 

As an Automotive Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training and assessing to to a mixture of apprentices, adult education, long-term unemployed or some mature students perhaps looking to re-skill. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Create and develop curriculum content to deliver up to L3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. 
• Mark and assess Students work proving structured feedback to aid development. 
• Regularly review Learner progress. 
• To participate in open evenings, taster days and employer engagement activities.

Must have: 

• At least 5 years working in industry as a Mechanic or in a garage environment.
• Industry experience must be on Light Vehicle. 
• Must hold a teaching or assessing qualification. 
• Hold a minimum L3 in Light Vehicle or a related topic.
