Our client is looking for an experienced Training Centre Manager to lead and oversee their 16–18 Study Programme provision based in Rochdale.

The Role
As Training Centre Manager, you’ll be responsible for the performance, management, and success of a local training centre, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant training. You’ll ensure programmes meet learner and employer needs, achieve funding and quality standards, and meet financial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team delivering 16–18 Study Programmes and related training initiatives.
- Plan and implement delivery schedules to meet agreed targets and funding requirements.
- Monitor learner progress and outcomes, ensuring a positive experience and high success rates.
- Design and develop vocational and employability curriculum in partnership with industry employers.
- Ensure compliance with funding, audit, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Support recruitment, mentoring, and development of centre staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, partners, and stakeholders to support learner progression and curriculum relevance.
- Manage centre budget and ensure value for money while meeting income and performance targets.
About You
You’ll be a proactive leader who thrives in a learner-focused environment. You will have:
- Experience managing funded learning provision, preferably within the 16–19 age group.
- Strong understanding of Study Programmes, employability, and/or vocational curriculum.
- Track record of achieving quality and compliance standards while hitting financial targets.
- A teaching qualification (essential) and experience supporting young learners from diverse or challenging backgrounds.
- Excellent planning, communication, and people management skills.
